A relevant research paper was published in *Journal Cancer Research & Clinical Oncology* in 1997, which has been cited more than 100 times by authoritative journals including *Science*. He has presided over 4 projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, as well as research projects such as the Natural Science Foundation of Shanghai and sub‑projects of key special programs of the Ministry of Health. As a key participant, he has taken part in national major science and technology special projects and programs of the Innovation Team of the Ministry of Education. The projects he participated in have won the First and Third Prizes of Chinese Medical Science and Technology Award, as well as the First and Third Prizes of Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award for six times in total. He has contributed to the compilation of monographs including *Basic and Clinical Research on Metastasis and Recurrence of Liver Cancer*, *Advances in Modern Internal Medicine* and *Hepatobiliary Oncology*. As the first or corresponding author, he has published more than 30 papers in journals such as *Nature Communications*.
