Associate Professor of the Department of Rheumatology and Immunology. He has long been engaged in the clinical diagnosis, treatment and research of rheumatic and immune diseases. In 2001, he went to the United States for six months to study the clinical diagnosis, treatment and basic research of vasculitis. Through years of clinical practice and in-depth research, he has accumulated rich clinical experience in rheumatology, and possesses profound and unique expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of difficult rheumatological cases. He was among the first in China to carry out clinical diagnosis, treatment and laboratory testing for vasculitis, and has published more than ten monographs and papers.

His main specialties include the diagnosis and treatment of systemic vasculitis, systemic lupus erythematosus, Sjögren's syndrome, adult-onset Still's disease, polymyositis, dermatomyositis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, gouty arthritis and other diseases.

He is enthusiastic about teaching work and was awarded the title of "Excellent Teacher for Theoretical Courses, Zhongshan Hospital, Fudan University" for three consecutive years from 2010 to 2012.
