Leader of the Department of Radiation Oncology, Chief Physician, Professor Grade II, and Doctoral Supervisor. Areas of expertise: Specializes in radiotherapy for malignant tumors of the chest and abdomen.

He has been engaged in radiotherapy for 38 years and headed the Department of Radiation Oncology at Zhongshan Hospital, Fudan University for 24 years. Under his leadership, the radiotherapy team of Zhongshan Hospital treats more than 6,000 tumor patients with radiotherapy every year.

Teaching and research: He has supervised 13 doctoral students and 12 master's students. As a standardized training base for resident physicians in Shanghai, the department trains 4 resident physicians annually, with a total of 18 resident physicians in radiation oncology trained. He has undertaken 1 Joint Fund Project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, 5 General Projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and 1 Director Fund Project of the Science Department of the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has obtained 2 key special research projects of the Ministry of Science and Technology. He is the recipient of the Shanghai Leading Talent Fund and the title of Outstanding Academic Leader of Shanghai. He drafted 1 Asia-Pacific consensus and 3 domestic consensuses, edited 3 monographs, and published more than 130 SCI papers as the first or corresponding author.

Awards: First Prize of Science and Technology Achievement Award of the Ministry of Education of China, Second Prize of Chinese Medical Science and Technology Award, Second Prize of Shanghai Science and Technology Achievement Award, First Prize of Beijing Science and Technology Progress Award. He holds the titles of Shanghai Leading Talent and Outstanding Academic Leader, and is an Outstanding Communist Party Member of the Shanghai Education and Health System. He was honored as Shanghai Good Doctor in 2023 and the honorable title of "China Good Doctor" in December 2024.
