Chief Physician, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor. He specializes in the diagnosis of various thoracic diseases, especially the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of pulmonary nodules as well as the imaging diagnosis of infectious diseases.

He has supervised 26 doctoral students and 15 master's students in medical imaging, together with 1 eight-year medical program student. He has undertaken 15 major research projects including those sponsored by the Ministry of Health, Shanghai Science and Technology Commission, serial research projects of Shanghai Science and Technology Commission and multiple horizontal cooperation projects. He has published more than 80 papers as the first author and corresponding author. He participated in compiling 16 major medical reference books, among which he served as co-editor-in-chief for 6 books and associate editor-in-chief for 5 books.
