He specializes in single-port minimally invasive surgery for benign biliary tract diseases (gallstones, gallbladder polyps, gallbladder adenomyomatosis, cholecystitis, choledocholithiasis, etc.); individualized precise treatment of gastrointestinal tumors including gallbladder cancer, cholangiocarcinoma, ampullary carcinoma and duodenal papillary carcinoma; surgical and comprehensive treatment of benign and malignant breast and thyroid diseases.

He has presided over 5 projects including the National Natural Science Foundation of China and obtained the certificate of the "Fudan-Harvard" Clinical Faculty Training Program. He has participated in a number of national multicenter clinical studies and holds dozens of patents. He won the Second Prize of Shanghai Medical Science and Technology, and has published more than 30 papers as the first author or corresponding author.
