Specializes in surgery and comprehensive treatment of biliary malignant tumors (including gallbladder cancer, hilar cholangiocarcinoma, cholangiocarcinoma, periampullary cancer, etc.); surgical treatment of benign biliary diseases, especially minimally invasive surgery, as well as surgical treatment of other gastrointestinal tumors.

He has long been engaged in the minimally invasive treatment of benign biliary diseases such as cholelithiasis and clinical and basic research on biliary malignant tumors. He presides over one project supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, one Excellent Doctoral Research Fund of the Key Disciplines of Fudan University, and one Youth Science Fund of Zhongshan Hospital, Fudan University. He has published more than 10 SCI papers as the first author and applied for 4 invention patents. He has participated in compiling monographs including *Practice of Surgery* and *Simulation Training for Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgery*. He was awarded the title of "Excellent Medical Staff of Zhongshan Hospital".
