He presides over 1 General Program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, 1 project of the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, and 1 project of Shanghai Science and Technology Commission. He has been granted 17 patents including invention patents and utility model patents. He won the Second Prize of Shanghai Medical Science and Technology (7th completer) and was selected into the Outstanding Young Talent Program of Zhongshan Hospital, Fudan University. He has published more than 20 papers in total. He participated in compiling works such as *Practical Surgery*, and took part in translating works including *Simulation Training in Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgery*. He is the chief editor of the popular science book series *The Great Stories of the Small Biliary Tract*.
