Specializes in pathological diagnosis and molecular pathological diagnosis of neoplastic and non-neoplastic diseases as well as thoracic diseases, with particular expertise in the pathological diagnosis and differential diagnosis of respiratory/thoracic neoplastic or non-neoplastic diseases and small biopsy specimens.Research interests: Focuses on the molecular mechanisms underlying recurrence, metastasis and prognosis of lung cancer. He serves as Deputy Director of the Department of Pathology, Executive Director of the Department of Pathology at Meilong Campus, Director of the Thoracic Pathology Subspecialty, and Director of Teaching in the Department of Pathology. He completed postdoctoral research at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in the United States from 2014 to 2016, under the supervision of Dr. William Travis, an internationally renowned expert in respiratory disease pathology. He has presided over 3 General Programs of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and 5 research projects including key biomedical projects, innovation action plan projects and natural science foundation projects funded by the Shanghai Science and Technology Commission. He has published more than 60 papers, among which over 30 SCI papers are published as the first author or corresponding author. Many papers are included in prestigious international journals such as AM J RESP CRIT CARE (IF:30.5), J THORAC ONCOL (IF: 20.4), and ADV SCI (IF:17.5). His research findings have been presented at international conferences including WCLC and USCAP on multiple occasions. He was awarded the Second Prize of Shanghai Medical Science and Technology Award (2021, third completer) and has filed 4 invention patent applications.
