Doctor, Associate Chief Physician. He graduated from the Department of Medicine, School of Medicine, Jiangsu University in August 1994, and obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree (combined master’s and doctoral program) from Shanghai Medical College, Fudan University in May 2003. He has worked in the Department of Liver Surgery, Zhongshan Hospital, Fudan University since June 2003 and was promoted to Associate Chief Physician in 2006.He engages in clinical practice and basic research on liver tumor surgery and liver transplantation, with accumulated clinical experience in more than 2,000 hepatectomies, over 700 liver transplantations and more than 200 laparoscopic liver tumor resections. He performs more than 200 hepatectomies and over 50 liver transplant operations annually, including highly difficult procedures such as central liver cancer, hilar cholangiocarcinoma, artificial vascular replacement and complex biliary reconstruction.

In scientific research, he mainly studies the molecular mechanisms underlying metastasis and recurrence of hepatocellular carcinoma. He has published more than 20 papers, among which 5 are SCI papers as the first author or corresponding author. In recent years, he has presided over 2 projects funded by the Science and Technology Commission of Shanghai Municipality, and participated in the National 973 Program, National Key Research and Development Program (2017YFC0908100), the 10th Five-Year Key Research Project of the Ministry of Health, and Key Clinical Discipline Project of the Ministry of Health. The research projects he participated in won the First Prize of Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award in 2011 and the Second Prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award of the People's Republic of China in 2012.
