Chief Physician, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor. He obtained his bachelor's degree from Shanghai Medical College (now Shanghai Medical College of Fudan University) in 1994 and his Doctor of Surgery degree in 2003. He has long been working on the front lines of clinical practice.

He specializes in surgical resection and liver transplantation for benign and malignant liver tumors. He has extensive clinical experience in the surgical resection of massive liver cancer, hilar liver cancer, liver cancer combined with portal vein tumor thrombus, and liver cancer after comprehensive treatment, as well as in liver transplantation for liver cancer and the prevention and comprehensive treatment of postoperative recurrence.

In recent years, he has focused on cellular immunotherapy for solid tumors such as liver cancer, especially the development and experimental treatment of CAR-T, TCR-T and tumor vaccines. He has presided over many major research projects including key special projects of the Ministry of Science and Technology of China and major programs of the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He was awarded the First Prize of Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award in 2011 and the Second Prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award in 2012.
