Chief Physician, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor. Director of the Department of Hepatobiliary Tumor and Liver Transplantation Surgery, Zhongshan Hospital, Fudan University; Director of the Office of Fudan University Liver Cancer Institute. He has been engaged in clinical practice and translational research of hepatobiliary tumors for more than 20 years. He has achieved numerous breakthroughs in the early screening and diagnosis, classification and staging, individualized treatment of tumors, as well as novel targets for immunotherapy, and innovated multiple surgical and diagnosis-treatment strategies.

He specializes in various complex and difficult hepatobiliary surgeries and minimally invasive procedures, performing approximately 500 hepatobiliary tumor and liver transplant operations as the primary surgeon each year.

He has been honored with titles including National Outstanding Young Professional, "National Famous Doctor - Young Rising Star", "Highly Cited Chinese Researcher", and Benevolent Physician - Shanghai Outstanding Specialist Award. He has won the Second Class Prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award and the First Class Prize of Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award. As the first or corresponding author, he has published a series of original research papers in top journals such as Science, Cell, Cancer Cell, Cancer Discov, J Clin Oncol, and Ann Oncol.
