Specializes in tumor pathology, molecular pathology and transplant pathology.Research directions: tumor molecular pathology, hepatobiliary pancreatic pathology, neuroendocrine tumor pathology and multi-omics research. He currently serves as Deputy Director of the Department of Pathology, Director of the Molecular Pathology Center, and Deputy Director of the Experimental Center of Zhongshan Hospital. He has undertaken more than 10 research projects including National Natural Science Foundation of China projects and key provincial and ministerial projects. He has published over 200 papers, among which more than 60 are SCI papers as the first author and corresponding author, including high-quality journal articles in *Hepatology*, *Nature Cell Biology*, *J Hepatol* and other journals. He has applied for a total of 5 Chinese invention patents, utility model patents and computer software copyrights, 3 of which have been successfully transformed. He has supervised 19 master's students and 2 doctoral students, 3 of whom have won the "Wu Bingquan Award for Outstanding Young Pathologists". He received the Second Prize of Shanghai Medical Science and Technology Award (5th completer) in 2013, the Third Prize of Shanghai Science and Technology Award in 2015, and the Second Prize of Shanghai Medical Science and Technology Award (3rd completer) in 2019.
