Work Experience
Since graduating from university in 1988, I have been engaged in clinical work in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, having received systematic and rigorous professional training in laryngeal microsurgery, voice medicine, head and neck and skull base tumors, and the diagnosis and treatment of tracheal and esophageal foreign bodies. I continued my studies in the Department of Otolaryngology at Xiangya Hospital, Central South University in Changsha, where I obtained a Doctor of Clinical Medicine degree. In 2005, I was transferred to the Department of Otolaryngology at Peking University Third Hospital. I am proficient in endoscopic, laser, and microwave therapeutic techniques, as well as molecular biology, gene diagnosis, and gene therapy technologies. I specialize in minimally invasive treatment of various voice disorders, snoring, head and neck tumors, and other otolaryngological diseases using microsurgical and endoscopic techniques. I was among the first in China to conduct research on susceptibility genes for head and neck and skull base tumors using human whole-genome microarrays. I also pioneered nerve transplantation research in China at an early stage, applying it to facial nerve transplantation for the treatment of facial paralysis and recurrent laryngeal nerve transplantation for vocal cord paralysis. I am responsible for the clinical teaching of resident physicians and clinical graduate students in our department, and have been involved in the teaching of clinical medical students since 2006. I have been awarded multiple national and provincial/ministerial research grants and have published dozens of professional papers.
