Work Experience Professor Xu Yimin graduated with distinction from the Department of Medicine at Beijing Medical University in August 1988, and subsequently served successively as Resident Physician, Attending Physician, Associate Chief Physician, and Chief Physician in the Department of Ophthalmology at Peking University Third Hospital. In 1993, he obtained a Master's degree in Medicine specializing in vitreoretinal diseases. Beginning in 1996, he systematically engaged in the diagnosis and treatment of vitreoretinal diseases and ocular trauma. In 1999 and 2009, he conducted research as a visiting scholar at the University of California, Berkeley, and the Machemer Vitreoretinal Center at Duke University, respectively.
