Research Work Establishment of animal models for brain arteriovenous malformations and embolization studies; theoretical hemodynamic models of brain arteriovenous malformations under pulsatile blood flow and their clinical application studies; research on carotid artery elongation and tortuosity in relation to cerebral ischemia; specialized studies on criteria for determining the standard of intracranial aneurysm embolization; and randomized controlled trials comparing stenting versus pharmacotherapy for intracranial arterial stenosis. Supervised and mentored over 40 doctoral and master's degree students. Led more than 10 research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and provincial/ministerial-level research grants. Published over 200 academic papers, including 4 in the New England Journal of Medicine. Awards Received 6 provincial/ministerial-level science and technology awards, including the Second Prize of the Beijing Science and Technology Progress Award. Additionally honored with the State Council Special Allowance, the Ministry of Health's Outstanding Contribution Award for Young and Middle-Aged Experts, the Bethune-style Good Doctor title, the National Famous Doctor?Outstanding Achievement Award, and the Capital City Good Doctor title, among other awards and recognitions.
