Work Experience Graduated from Peking University Health Science Center in 1990 with a Bachelor of Medicine degree. Since graduation, has been working in the Department of Endocrinology at Peking University Third Hospital. Obtained a Master of Medicine degree in 1996 and a Doctor of Medicine degree in 2008. In 2001, conducted one year of visiting research at the School of Life Sciences, Keele University, UK. Appointed as Associate Chief Physician in 2002, and as Associate Professor and Master's Supervisor in 2003. Appointed as Chief Physician in 2008. Has served as Deputy Director of the Department of Endocrinology at Peking University Third Hospital since 2006. Research Work Primary research interests include basic and clinical research on diabetes, and studies on endocrine metabolism and reproductive health. Has successively received funding from projects including the Beijing Natural Science Foundation, the International Medical Exchange Foundation, and the Chinese Medical Association Foundation. As a key project member, participated in the National Key Research and Development Program project: Research on appropriate technologies and efficacy evaluation of early behavioral interventions for risk factors of type 2 diabetes, high diabetes risk, and gestational diabetes mellitus.
