Work Experience After completing doctoral studies in July 1996, I joined the Department of Respiratory Medicine at Peking University Third Hospital, where I successively served as Chief Resident of Internal Medicine, Attending Physician, Associate Chief Physician, Chief Physician, and Professor. From 2001 to 2002, I conducted clinical and basic research on severe asthma at the National Jewish Medical and Research Center, a renowned respiratory research institute in the United States. From December 2007 to February 2015, I was appointed as the Director of the Department of Respiratory Medicine at Beijing Tongren Hospital, Capital Medical University. From March 2015 to the present, I have successively served as Assistant Dean of Peking University Third Hospital and Director of the Department of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine. Research Work My primary research focus is on clinical and basic research in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and asthma. I have received funding from the National Natural Science Foundation of China (5 projects) and the Beijing Municipal Natural Science Foundation (3 projects), among others. I have published over 100 papers, including more than 60 SCI-indexed papers as first author or corresponding author. I have been awarded one Chinese Medical Science and Technology Award and one Beijing Science and Technology Award. Awards In September 2020, the Beijing Municipal Committee and Municipal Government awarded me the title of "Advanced Individual in Beijing's Fight Against the COVID-19 Pandemic."
