Medical career: Graduated from the School of Stomatology, Xi'an Jiaotong University, and completed postdoctoral research at Peking University School of Stomatology. He has studied and conducted collaborative research at the University of Freiburg and Ruhr-Universität Bochum in Germany on three occasions.

Research achievements: He presides over projects including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Talent Introduction Program of Guangdong Higher Education Institutions, the Key Program of Guangdong Natural Science Foundation, and the Key Project of the "Clinical Research Initiation Program" of Southern Medical University. He has published more than 40 SCI academic papers, edited and co-authored 6 monographs, and obtained 2 national invention patents.
