Medical career: Graduated from the First Military Medical University in 1990, obtained a Master's degree in Plastic Surgery in 1995 and a Doctoral degree in 1998. Completed one year of study in Japan in 2000.
Research achievements: Has published more than 30 academic papers and participated in compiling 4 monographs. Presided over 1 project funded by the Medical Research Foundation of Guangdong Province and 1 project funded by the Guangzhou Key Science and Technology Research Program, and took part in 2 research projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. Won 1 Second Class Prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award, 1 Second Class Prize of the Military Medical Achievement Award and 1 Second Class Prize of the Guangdong Science and Technology Progress Award, as well as 2 Second Class Prizes of the Nanfang Hospital Medical Achievement Award.
