Earned a Doctoral degree in Plastic Surgery from First Military Medical University in 2005. Research achievements: Participated in 2 projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and 1 Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Development project. Published 6 papers in various national plastic surgery journals and took part in compiling 2 monographs on plastic surgery.
