**Introduction:** Ph.D., Associate Professor, Associate Chief Physician. With over 20 years of experience in orthopedics, he furthered his training in complex fractures and geriatric fracture management at Queen Mary Hospital, University of Hong Kong in 2002, and in shoulder and elbow surgery and sports medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard University in 2005. His expertise includes complex fractures of the extremities, management of multiple injuries, osteoporotic fractures in the elderly, pediatric fractures and deformity correction, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of shoulder and elbow injuries and diseases, as well as arthroscopic minimally invasive surgery and sports medicine. He has led 1 international research grant and currently has 2 active grants; has published over 40 papers, edited 1 monograph, and co-edited 6 others. **Medical Career:** 1983-1989: Six-year undergraduate program at the Fourth Military Medical University; 1989-1992: Military physician, Unit 86001, People's Liberation Army; 1992-1995: Master's student, Institute of Orthopedics, Xijing Hospital, Fourth Military Medical University; 1995-1998: Doctoral student, Institute of Orthopedics, Xijing Hospital, Fourth Military Medical University; 1998-Present: Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology, Nanfang Hospital, First Military Medical University (now Southern Medical University), serving successively as Attending Physician, Lecturer, Associate Chief Physician, and Associate Professor. In 2002, he was a Visiting Scholar and AO (Association for the Study of Internal Fixation) Fellow in the Department of Orthopedics at Queen Mary Hospital, University of Hong Kong, obtaining a temporary Hong Kong medical license and studying limb trauma under Professor Chow Shew Ping. In 2005, he studied elbow surgery under Harvard Professor and Chief of Upper Extremity Surgery, Jesse B. Jupiter, and shoulder surgery under Harvard Professor and Director of the Harvard Shoulder Center, Jon J.P. Warner, at the Department of Orthopedics, Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School. **Research Activities:** AO Fellow, AO Advanced Course Local Instructor, International Shoulder Fellow. He has published over 40 papers as first author in core domestic and international professional journals, led 2 international research grants, received one Second Prize of the Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award, edited 2 monographs, and established the first shoulder and elbow website in China to provide professional lectures and exchange platforms for orthopedic surgeons and popular science knowledge and consultation services for patients. *
