He has presided over more than 20 national, provincial and ministerial research projects. Holding a Doctor of Medicine degree and working as a doctoral supervisor, he boasts rich clinical experience and has been engaged in orthopedic work for more than 20 years, with multiple academic visits to Europe, America, Hong Kong and Macao. After graduating from the Fourth Military Medical University in 1986, he stayed at the university for work. He successively served as an assistant and physician at the Orthopedic Research Institute of Xijing Hospital, an attending physician at the Orthopedic Center of the Wuhan General Hospital of the Guangzhou Military Region, an associate professor, associate chief physician and Director of the Department of Traumatic Orthopedics at the Orthopedic Center of Zhujiang Hospital of the First Military Medical University, as well as a professor, chief physician and deputy director of the Department of Traumatic Orthopedics, Nanfang Hospital, Southern Medical University. He has a solid theoretical foundation and comprehensive, sophisticated orthopedic surgical skills, and is a renowned orthopedic expert in China. He has repeatedly been honored as a model worker, advanced individual and model Communist Party member of the university.
