Mao Youying, Ph.D., Associate Chief Physician Specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of pediatric kidney diseases, including nephrotic syndrome, IgA nephropathy, hematuria, proteinuria, complicated urinary tract infections, Henoch-Schönlein purpura, Henoch-Schönlein purpura nephritis, and hereditary nephropathies. Previously studied at the Department of Nephrology, Hannover Medical School, Germany, and the Department of Nephrology, Boston Children's Hospital, USA, focusing on the identification of novel pathogenic genes for refractory nephropathy through whole-exome sequencing (WES) and related pathogenic mechanisms. In recent years, has published over 10 papers, led and completed one National Natural Science Foundation of China Young Scientists Fund project, and one municipal and one ministerial-level project.
