Primarily engaged in the diagnosis and treatment of pediatric cardiovascular diseases, with expertise in transthoracic echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography, three-dimensional echocardiography, and cardiac function assessment for congenital heart disease, cardiomyopathy, and Kawasaki disease, as well as their application and follow-up in interventional therapy and surgical procedures.
Former Secretary of the Key Discipline (Phase V) of the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission in Pediatric Cardiovascular Medicine, currently a review expert for the Shanghai Science and Technology Commission Expert Database. To date, has led six research projects funded by the Ministry of Education, Shanghai Science and Technology Commission, and Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, and participated in nearly 20 national, ministerial, and municipal-level projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the National "Tenth Five-Year" Science and Technology Support Program. Has received the Shanghai Science and Technology Achievement Certificate, the Third Prize of the Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award, the Third Prize of the Chinese Medical Science and Technology Award, the Soong Ching Ling Pediatric Medicine Award, and the Second Prize of the Ministry of Education Science and Technology Progress Award. Has published nearly 70 papers to date, including 44 as first author or corresponding author (4 in SCI-indexed journals, 1 in EI-indexed journals), and has contributed to the compilation or translation of multiple monographs, such as *Pediatric Echocardiography*, *Embryological Basis of Cardiovascular Malformations and Ultrasound Diagnosis*, *Clinical Pediatric Ultrasound Diagnostics*, *Advanced Analysis of Echocardiography Diagnosis*, *Frontiers in Pediatric Cardiology: New Theories and Technologies*, *Pediatric Heart Failure*, and *Nelson Textbook of Pediatrics*.
Overseas training: From 2010 to 2012, served as a Research Associate in the Department of Developmental Biology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, USA, participating in an NIH-funded national-level large-scale project on mutagen-induced congenital heart disease-related gene series in mouse embryos. During this period, completed ultrasound screening for 21,869 mouse embryos with congenital heart disease and performed detailed diagnosis of 2,915 affected embryos. Partial research results were published in *Circulation: Cardiovascular Imaging* (SCI IF 5.316).
Main research directions: Three-dimensional digital pathological study of conotruncal anomalies, investigation of the value of three-dimensional ultrasound in guiding perioperative diagnosis and treatment of conotruncal anomalies, and dynamic three-dimensional modeling of mitral valve apparatus structure and hemodynamics. Also specializes in small animal embryonic cardiac ultrasound techniques.
