Education and Work Experience: He received his bachelor’s degree in Clinical Medicine from Southern Medical University (former First Military Medical University), and his master’s and doctoral degrees in Thoracic Surgery from Sun Yat-sen University. He has been working in the Department of Thoracic Surgery at The First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University since 2009.

Research Achievements and Publications: He has published more than 20 SCI papers as first or corresponding author, including multiple original studies in international thoracic surgery journals such as The Journal of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery and The Annals of Thoracic Surgery. He presides over research projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Guangdong Natural Science Foundation and Industry-University-Research Fund of the Ministry of Education. He has contributed to medical monographs including Clinical Anatomy (Thoracic Volume), the Chinese translation of Netter’s Surgical Anatomy and Approaches, and Handbook of Practical Surgical Medical Orders. He was honored as “Promising Young and Middle-Aged Doctor in the Strongest Clinical Department of Guangdong Hospitals” in 2022.

1. Minimally invasive surgical and ablation therapy for pulmonary nodules, ground-glass opacity and lung cancer
2. Clinical and basic research on pulmonary metastatic tumors and thymic tumors

Specialties: He focuses on precise minimally invasive surgical management and ablation treatment for pulmonary nodules, ground-glass opacities and lung cancer, performing over 500 pulmonary nodule operations each year. He has rich experience in thoracoscopic and robotic minimally invasive surgery for thoracic tumors such as lung cancer, esophageal cancer and mediastinal tumors.
