Graduated from the Clinical Medicine program of the Medical Faculty at Sun Yat-sen University of Medical Sciences in 1991. Worked at the First and Third Affiliated Hospitals of Sun Yat-sen University and received specialized training in neurosurgery. Obtained a Master's degree in 1998 and a Doctorate degree in 2007. From 2012 to 2013, received advanced training in neuroendoscopy and microsurgery at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg and the University of Greifswald in Germany. Research Grants: Principal investigator of 1 National Natural Science Foundation of China project, 3 Provincial Natural Science Foundation projects, 1 Major Science and Technology Project of Guangzhou, 2 Provincial Science and Technology projects, and 1 project from the Provincial Health and Family Planning Commission. Publications: First author of 3 SCI-indexed English papers, first or corresponding author of over 20 Chinese core journal papers.
