Currently serves as Chief Physician in the Department of Cardiology at Ruijin Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Second Medical University. Specializes in the diagnosis and management of various cardiovascular diseases such as coronary heart disease, hypertension, and valvular heart disease. Pioneered the use of Doppler ultrasound technology in China for detecting various vascular diseases, capable of accurately quantifying the extent and severity of lesions. Graduated from Shanghai Second Medical University in 1986 with a doctoral degree in cardiovascular disease. Education Graduated from Bengbu Medical College in 1976. Admitted to Anhui Medical University in 1979 to pursue a master's degree in internal medicine cardiovascular disease, obtained a Master of Medicine degree in 1983. Obtained a doctoral degree in cardiovascular disease from Shanghai Second Medical University in 1986. Work Experience Formerly served as a resident physician in the Department of Internal Medicine at Huaibei People's Hospital, Anhui Province; currently serves in the Department of Cardiology at Ruijin Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Second Medical University, having successively held positions as attending physician and associate chief physician, promoted to Professor and Chief Physician in 1992; pursued advanced training in the Department of Vascular Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine, Pau Sabatier University, Toulouse, France from 1990 to 1991, obtained the French Certificate in Vascular Medicine; pursued advanced training in the Department of Cardiology at Flinders University School of Medicine, Australia from 1996 to 1997, appointed as Senior Cardiologist; serves as Director of the Echocardiography Laboratory at Ruijin Hospital. Research Achievements Published 500 papers, including more than 160 papers in domestic and international journals such as International Angiology and Chinese Medical Journal, of which more than 100 as first author; chief editor of "Congestive Heart Failure"; contributing editor of monographs including "Cardiology," "Clinical Cardiovascular Disease," "Cardiovascular Emergencies," "Emergency Medicine," "Differential Diagnosis of Common Symptoms," and "Internal Medicine Manual."
