Professor, doctoral supervisor, member of the Communist Party of China. Graduated from the Department of Medicine of China Medical University in 1982 and stayed at the university to work in the Department of Surgery of the First Affiliated Hospital. In 1984, was admitted as a graduate student in bone tumors. In 1987, went to the Curie Institute in Paris, France, to engage in research on radiotherapy and chemotherapy for tumors. In 1990, obtained the Diploma in Radiation Oncology (DIS) from Paris V University. From 1991 to 1993, was employed as a foreign attending physician (Chef de clinique) at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Besançon. Returned to China in May 1993. Specializes in the diagnosis and comprehensive breast-conserving treatment of breast cancer, radiotherapy and chemotherapy for esophageal cancer, radiotherapy for anal cancer and nasopharyngeal carcinoma, and radiotherapy for gynecological tumors. Diagnostic and therapeutic techniques: three-dimensional conformal radiotherapy (X-ray knife) technique, brachytherapy technique (interstitial implantation and intracavitary), intraoperative radiotherapy technique, and total body irradiation technique. Undertook two projects funded by the State Education Commission and the Shanghai Municipal Health Bureau. Published more than 50 papers and participated in the compilation of 10 books.
