Graduated with a doctoral degree in 2004, associate chief physician, master's supervisor, deputy director of the Department of Respiratory Medicine at Ruijin Hospital, former member of the COPD Group of the Shanghai Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, and currently deputy head of the Pulmonary Function and Respiratory Therapy Group. In 2007, was sent by the China Scholarship Council to the Curie Institute in France for postdoctoral training. Participated in and completed multiple research projects, including National Key Projects during the 10th Five-Year Plan and 11th Five-Year Plan, and key projects of the Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission. In 2004, received the Excellent Paper Award at the First National Young and Middle-aged Respiratory Forum; in 2006, received the Excellent Paper Award at the Asia-Pacific Society of Respirology Symposium on Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease; in 2006, received funding from the Ruijin Hospital Excellent Young Teachers Research Project Fund. Currently, as project leader, is undertaking 1 key biomedical project of the Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission, 1 Shanghai Cancer Charity Fund project, 1 National Natural Science Foundation project, 1 Scientific Research Starting Fund for Returned Overseas Chinese Scholars of the Ministry of Education, and 1 Wu Jieping Clinical Research Special Fund project. In recent years, has published more than 30 original articles, including 4 indexed by SCI, and has participated in the compilation of monographs such as Modern Diagnostic Microbiology, Asthma, Continuing Education Textbook for Licensed Pharmacists, and Differential Analysis of Bronchial Asthma and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.
