Professor. Graduated from the Department of Medicine, Shanghai Second Medical University in 1984, and in the same year began working in the Department of Respiratory Medicine, Ruijin Hospital affiliated to the university. Engaged in clinical, research, and teaching work in respiratory diseases for more than 30 years, with relatively in-depth practice and research. Mainly engaged in clinical and research work on sleep-disordered breathing, critical care monitoring and respiratory support, pulmonary infections, and chronic airway diseases, and has rich experience in chest imaging and the differential diagnosis and treatment of difficult and complex respiratory diseases. Since the mid-1980s, began participating in research on sleep-disordered breathing, and was the first in China to report a comparative study of ventilator and surgical treatment for sleep apnea syndrome, which has certain guiding significance for rational treatment. Has successively been responsible for or participated in multiple national and municipal science and technology commission projects, published more than 60 papers in domestic and foreign journals, and once won the Excellent Paper Award of the Chinese Medical Association Respiratory Diseases Branch. As a main participant, the study "Controlled Hypoventilation Therapy and Respiratory Dynamics Monitoring in Severe Asthma" won the Third Prize of Shanghai Science and Technology Achievement Award (1998). Basic and clinical research on obstructive and central sleep-disordered breathing successively won the Second Prize of the First Shanghai Medical Science and Technology Award (2003) and the Second Prize of Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award (2004). Has repeatedly received clinical medical achievement awards and teaching awards from Shanghai Second Medical University and Ruijin Hospital. Deputy chief editor of "New Technologies in Ventilator Therapy and Monitoring"; participated in the compilation of more than 20 monographs.
