Director and Chief Physician of the Department of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine‑Geriatric Oncology. With over 30 years of clinical experience in integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine for oncology, he specializes in the integrated treatment of common malignant tumors including lung cancer, digestive system tumors and breast cancer. He has accumulated extensive clinical experience in postoperative consolidation therapy and prevention of recurrence and metastasis for common tumors, as well as applying traditional Chinese medicine to enhance therapeutic efficacy, alleviate adverse reactions and improve quality of life during tumor radiotherapy and chemotherapy. He was awarded the title of "Capital Distinguished Young and Middle‑Aged TCM Physician" in 2021 and the "Chinese Medicine Contribution Award" at the "Honor Life, Honor Physicians" event in 2023. He has presided over multiple Beijing Initial Medical Research Projects and Beijing Traditional Chinese Medicine Science and Technology Projects, and participated in clinical research for several national 11th Five‑Year Plan, 12th Five‑Year Plan and Ministry of Science and Technology research projects as a sub‑center principal investigator. As the second completer, he took part in the project "Study on the Effect and Mechanism of Traditional Chinese Medicine Intervention for Adverse Reactions of Endocrine Therapy for Breast Cancer", which won the Second Prize of the Ministry of Education Science and Technology Progress Award. The results of the multi‑center, randomized, double‑blind, placebo‑controlled clinical study "Ginseng Yangrong Decoction for Improving Fatigue in Chemotherapy Patients", which he completed as the PI (Principal Investigator), were selected for an oral presentation at the 2025 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Annual Meeting.
