Specialties: He has been engaged in clinical practice and scientific research on integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine for cancer treatment for nearly 50 years. He devotes himself to clinical work and research on improving the quality of life and prognostic survival of cancer patients through integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine. He has accumulated rich experience in the integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine treatment of lung cancer, breast cancer and common gastrointestinal tumors, and is especially good at the comprehensive treatment of geriatric cancers. He has undertaken multiple National Natural Science Foundation projects, major science and technology projects of Beijing Municipality, and Peking University 985 Research Projects. For successive years, he has presided over projects supported by the Beijing Natural Science Foundation and the Beijing Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and participated in projects of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine including the Tenth Five‑Year Plan and Eleventh Five‑Year Plan programs.
