Specialties: Engaged in clinical and translational research on melanoma and urologic tumors; research focuses on clinical and translational studies of melanoma and urological malignancies. He has systematically illustrated the classification and prognosis of Chinese melanoma patients. As a key core member, he established the TNM staging system for mucosal melanoma, which facilitates comprehensive understanding, evaluation, therapeutic analysis and design of subsequent prospective studies for mucosal melanoma arising from different primary sites. As a principal investigator, he participated in a series of domestic clinical studies on peri‑operative and advanced‑stage treatment of mucosal melanoma, which revised the domestic clinical guidelines for melanoma. Over the past five years, he has published 13 SCI papers as corresponding author, first author and co‑first author in leading international oncology journals including Annals of Oncology, NPJ Genomic Medicine and European Journal of Cancer, with a maximum impact factor of 50.5. As a major participant, he has been awarded the Second Prize of Beijing Science and Technology Progress Award, Second Prize of Science and Technology Progress Award of Chinese Anti‑Cancer Association, Third Prize of Chinese Medical Association Science and Technology Award, and Third Prize of Huaxia Medical Award.
