Senior Physician, Associate Professor and Doctoral Supervisor in the Department of Gastrointestinal Oncology, and Director of the Department of Nutrition, Peking University Cancer Hospital. Principal Investigator (PI) of the National Key Laboratory of Integrated Prevention and Treatment of Digestive Tumors, recipient of the National High‑level Talent Program, and Boya Young Scholar of Peking University. He has long been engaged in clinical diagnosis and comprehensive treatment of gastrointestinal tumors, with a particular focus on research into molecular subtyping and precision therapy of gastric cancer. He has initiated multiple prospective clinical studies on gastric cancer that have transformed clinical practice. His findings have been published as first or corresponding author in journals including Lancet and JAMA Oncology. He has presided over and participated in research projects such as the Key Special Project of the National Key Research and Development Program, National Natural Science Foundation of China, China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, and Key Special Project of Beijing Natural Science Foundation. He has been selected for Beijing High‑level Innovation Talent Program (Dengfeng Project) and the Young Talent Program of Beijing Hospital Management Bureau. His honors include the First‑class Award of the Chinese Medical Association, First‑class Science and Technology Award of the Chinese Anti‑Cancer Association, First‑class Huaxia Medical Science and Technology Award, and Young Scientist Award of the Chinese Anti‑Cancer Association. He has published more than 30 papers as first or corresponding author, obtained 2 national invention patents, and served as the chief translator for one medical monograph.
