Specialties: With over 30 years of clinical practice in urology, he has accumulated extensive clinical experience in urologic tumors, urinary tract injuries, urinary tract infections, prostate diseases and other conditions. He graduated from the Department of Medicine, Beijing Medical University in 1986. In the same year, he was admitted to the Peking University First Hospital‑Institute of Urology, Peking University for a combined master‑doctoral program. As a joint‑training PhD candidate, he studied at the University of Edinburgh in the United Kingdom in 1990, conducting research on prostate cancer and publishing two papers in Prostate and British Journal of Cancer. He was awarded the Doctor of Medicine degree from Beijing Medical University in 1992. From 2004 to 2012, he successively served as Chief Physician, Professor, Doctoral Supervisor and Department Director of the Department of Urology at Beijing Chaoyang Hospital, Capital Medical University. In August 2012, he was transferred to Peking University Cancer Hospital to take up the posts of Department Director, Chief Physician and Professor. He has published nearly 39 papers in core journals and 12 SCI‑indexed papers. He has obtained one grant from the Beijing Municipal Education Commission, one grant from the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission, one Director‑funded project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and one General Program of NSFC. He is a hundred‑level talent of the "Ten‑Hundred‑Thousand Talent Project" and a key academic backbone of Beijing.
