Secretary of the Party Branch and Associate Chief Physician of the First Department of Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery. He graduated from Peking University Health Science Center with a Doctoral degree in Oncology. During his studies and professional career, he completed the multi‑year rotation program of standardized residency training at Peking University, which laid a solid foundation for his specialized work in hepatobiliary and pancreatic oncology. Having successively served as Resident Physician, Chief Resident Physician, Attending Physician and Associate Chief Physician, he is currently specialized in hepatobiliary and pancreatic tumor surgery. With long‑term front‑line clinical experience, he has participated in numerous specialized operations including complex hepatectomy, pancreaticoduodenectomy, distal pancreatectomy combined with splenectomy, and radical resection of gallbladder carcinoma. He has taken part in and performed nearly one thousand operations in total, and has accumulated considerable experience in surgical procedures and peri‑operative management within this discipline. His current research focuses on clinical and basic studies of colorectal cancer liver metastasis and primary liver cancer. He presides over one research project funded by Wu Jieping Medical Foundation, and participates as the first key member in one research project of the Ministry of Science and Technology and one project supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. In addition, he acts as a secondary investigator in multiple clinical research projects covering pharmacotherapy for advanced primary liver cancer, conversion therapy for locally advanced liver cancer, postoperative adjuvant therapy for primary liver cancer, and pharmacotherapy for advanced biliary tract cancer. He has published 10 papers in SCI‑indexed journals and Chinese core journals in total.
