Specialties: Minimally invasive treatment of lung cancer, resection of complex lung cancer, standardized management of pulmonary ground‑glass nodules, minimally invasive three‑incision esophagectomy, minimally invasive two‑incision esophagectomy, as well as perioperative comprehensive therapies including targeted therapy, chemotherapy and immunotherapy for thoracic tumors. He graduated from Peking University Health Science Center and earned his Doctorate in Oncology. In 2019, he worked as a visiting scholar at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, USA, where he received the Owen H. Wangensteen Scientific Forum Award for Distinguished Research from the American College of Surgeons. He has presided over the Capital Health Development Research Special Project, the Beijing "Young Seedling" Training Program Project, the Beijing Youth Backbone Individual Project, and a sub‑project of the Key Program of Haidian Original Innovation Fund under Beijing Natural Science Foundation. He has also participated in the 14th Five‑Year National Major Science and Technology Project and the National Key Research and Development Program. He has published papers in internationally renowned journals such as Mol Cancer, Cancer Research, Nano Lett, Eur J Nucl Med Mol Imaging, J Thorac Cardiovasc Surg, Ann Thorac Surg, Clinical Lung Cancer, Eur J Cardiothorac Surg, and Ann Surg Oncol. His awards include the First Prize in the Young Faculty Teaching Demonstration Competition of Peking University School of Clinical Oncology (2011), the Second Prize in the First Medical Popularization Competition of Peking University Cancer Hospital (2015), the Runner‑up Award in the China Excellent Lung Cancer Surgery Competition (2016), the Second Prize of Huaxia Medical Science and Technology Award (5th principal contributor, 2016), and the Second Prize of the Science and Technology Award of Chinese Anti‑Cancer Association (4th principal contributor, 2024).
