Chief Physician, Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, Temporary Deputy Director of the Second Department of Thoracic Surgery and Deputy Director of the Thoracic Oncology Center at Peking University Cancer Hospital, Member of the Communist Party of China. His practice covers open and minimally‑invasive surgeries for thoracic tumors (esophageal cancer, lung cancer, mediastinal tumors, etc.), including precise segmentectomy for early‑stage lung cancer, complex radical resection for advanced lung cancer, and various anastomotic procedures for esophageal cancer. Adhering to the concept of Multidisciplinary Team (MDT), he develops personalized comprehensive treatment regimens for patients encompassing surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, targeted therapy and immunotherapy. He obtained his Doctorate in Oncology from Peking University Health Science Center in 2005, Master’s degree in Oncology from Peking University Health Science Center in 2003, and Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Medicine from Peking University Health Science Center in 2000. From May to August 2007, funded by the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC), he pursued advanced studies at the Surgical Laboratory of the School of Medicine, Cardiff University, United Kingdom.

Principal Investigator Projects: 2 General Programs and 1 Young Scientist Fund Program from the National Natural Science Foundation of China; 1 Beijing Municipal Health Bureau Capital Development Fund Project and 1 Beijing Nova Program; 1 Research Fund Project of Peking University School of Oncology and 1 Hospital‑based Young Clinical Research Fund. His research focuses on molecular mechanisms, biomarkers, non‑invasive detection and neoadjuvant therapy of lung cancer.

Participated Projects: 3 National Key Science and Technology Special Projects (including the Science and Technology Innovation 2030 Project) and 1 National 863 Program Project, covering fields such as individualized diagnosis and treatment of lung cancer, antibody drug development, and post‑operative rehabilitation models. As corresponding author or first author, he has published numerous papers in international journals including J Biol Chem, Sci Rep, Thorac Cancer, Clin Transl Med, IUBMB Life, as well as domestic core journals such as National Medical Journal of China. He has presided over and participated in multiple national‑ and provincial‑level research projects with substantial research funding support. His research achievements involve exploration of molecular mechanisms and biomarkers for lung cancer and esophageal cancer.
