Specialties: Diagnosis and treatment of thoracic tumors. He has accumulated rich experience in the diagnosis and treatment of various thoracic tumors, including tracheal tumors, lung cancer, esophageal cancer, esophagogastric junction cancer, mediastinal tumors, chest wall tumors, etc. He can independently perform surgical procedures for lung cancer, esophageal cancer, esophagogastric junction cancer and mediastinal tumors, and is proficient in applying individualized and multidisciplinary treatment models for tumors. He graduated from Peking University Health Science Center (formerly Beijing Medical University) in 1996 and was assigned to work in the Surgery Department of Beijing Cancer Hospital. From July 1996 to September 1999, he completed the first‑phase standardized residency training at Peking University First Hospital, rotating through General Surgery, Orthopedics, Urology, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Anesthesiology, ICU and outpatient‑emergency departments. He gained knowledge of various surgical diseases and mastered basic surgical skills. He returned to Beijing Cancer Hospital in 1999 for the second‑phase standardized residency training. Meanwhile, he pursued his doctoral degree under the supervision of Professor Xu Guangwei, a renowned Chinese expert in oncological surgery. He completed rotations in Oncological Surgery, Thoracic Oncology, Gynecologic Oncology, Pathology and Radiation Oncology, and finished chief resident training as well as his doctoral dissertation. He has conducted extensive research on lung cancer, esophageal cancer, esophagogastric junction cancer and other conditions, and has published numerous papers in both Chinese and English.
