He specializes in precise surgery, neoadjuvant therapy and multidisciplinary team‑based diagnosis and treatment for locally advanced, recurrent and metastatic colorectal cancer, cases involving vital organ involvement, and high‑risk elderly patients, and led the establishment of a full‑life‑cycle care system for advanced‑stage patients. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and Foreign Member of the French National Academy of Surgery.Research and Academic Achievements: He has presided over major projects including the National Science and Technology Support Program, the "863 Program", and the National Natural Science Foundation of China.
