Associate Chief Physician at the Gastrointestinal Cancer Center of Peking University Cancer Hospital. He graduated from the 8‑year Clinical Medicine Program of Peking University Health Science Center in 2014 and obtained a Doctorate in Oncology. He was a visiting scholar at City of Hope National Cancer Center in the United States, and visited and exchanged at Seoul National University Hospital in South Korea, Heidelberg University Hospital in Germany, and University of Lyon in France. He has been invited on multiple occasions to deliver academic presentations and engage in exchanges at international conferences including the Federation of Asian Clinical Oncology (FACO 2014), International Gastric Cancer Association Congress (IGCA 2015, 2017, 2019, 2023), American Society of Clinical Oncology Gastrointestinal Cancers Symposium (ASCO‑GI 2020), American Association for Cancer Research Annual Meeting (AACR 2024), Japanese Gastric Cancer Association Annual Congress (JGCA 2016, 2018, 2023), and Peritoneal Surface Oncology Group International Congress (PSOGI 2024). He keeps well‑informed of the latest advances and international status in the field of gastrointestinal oncology.

He specializes in surgical treatment and peri‑operative pharmacotherapy for gastrointestinal cancers (gastric cancer, adenocarcinoma of the esophagogastric junction, colon cancer, rectal cancer, gastrointestinal stromal tumor (GIST), etc.). With nearly 2,000 outpatient visits per year, he possesses extensive clinical experience. He is particularly adept at minimally invasive surgery for gastrointestinal tumors, proficient in fine dissection of lymph nodes at all stations under minimally invasive approaches, preservation of pelvic autonomic nerves, various modified digestive tract reconstruction and other surgical techniques. He is experienced in the clinical application and evaluation of novel therapies including chemotherapy, targeted therapy and immunotherapy. In clinical practice, he advocates individualized treatment plans tailored to patients’ tumor staging, molecular typing and physical conditions to maximize curative potential. While improving cure rates, he attaches great importance to preserving patients’ quality of life and optimizing their medical experience.He serves as a lecturer for the "Belt and Road" International Medical Talent Training Alliance under the National Health Commission and for national continuing medical education programs. Guided by clinical challenges in gastrointestinal cancer management, he has carried out a series of research projects. He presides over multiple research grants including the Beijing Talent Cultivation Program and research‑teaching funding projects of Peking University Cancer Hospital. As the first author, he has published numerous SCI and core journal papers. He received the First Prize of the Chinese Medical Science and Technology Award (for the project "Establishment and Promotion of Precision Diagnosis and Treatment Technologies for Gastric Cancer", 2024). His other honors include the First Prize in the National Final of the Gastrointestinal Cancer Multimodality Therapy Speech Contest hosted by the Chinese Journal of Surgery; the Second Prize and Most Popular Teacher Award at the 10th Beijing University Young Teachers’ Basic Teaching Skills Competition; the First Prize of Peking University Basic Teaching Skills Competition; the Excellent Teaching Award of Peking University Health Science Center; and Outstanding Graduate of the Peking University Specialized Residency Training Program.
