Chief Physician of the Department of Gastrointestinal Surgery, Deputy Director of the Biobank. He has long been engaged in surgical clinical practice and relevant research on gastrointestinal tumors. He pursued his studies in Surgery at Shanghai Medical University (now Fudan University Shanghai Medical College) from 1991 to 2001 and obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree. After graduation, he completed post‑doctoral research on tumors at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. He has been working at Peking University Cancer Hospital since late 2002. He has published more than ten scientific research papers and monographs, and taken charge of four national‑level research projects. He served as associate editor for one monograph on biobanks, which ranks among the earliest works in the field of biobank management. As a member of the gastrointestinal surgery team, he has been awarded the First Prize of Chinese Medical Science and Technology Award, the Third Prize of Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Progress Award, and the Second Prize of Huaxia Medical Award.
