Medical Career: Graduated from the First Military Medical University in 2002 with a Doctor of Medicine degree. He engaged in clinical practice and scientific research on viral hepatitis in the Department of Infectious Diseases, Nanfang Hospital. He successively served as Attending Physician, Associate Chief Physician and Chief Physician. He worked as a visiting scholar at the Wadsworth Center, New York State, USA from 2010 to 2013. He was awarded the title of "Guangzhou Excellent Doctor" in 2024.

Research Profile: He presides over national-level research projects including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, sub-projects of the National Science and Technology Major Project of the 13th Five-Year Plan, and sub-projects of the National Key R&D Program. He has published research papers in academic journals such as Nature Medicine, J Viral Hepat, Clin Gastroenterol & Hepatol, and BMC Infect Dis. As one of the principal investigators of the project, he launched the "Zero Mother-to-Child Transmission of Hepatitis B Project" (Little Shell Project), and participated in the formulation of the Clinical Management Protocol for Blocking Mother-to-Child Transmission of Hepatitis B.
