Medical Career: Graduated from the Third Military Medical University with a bachelor’s degree in 1990. He obtained his Master of Medicine and Doctor of Medicine degrees from the Institute of Burn Research of Southwest Hospital, Third Military Medical University in 1996 and 2001 respectively. He is a master’s supervisor. He has served as a physician, attending physician, lecturer, associate chief physician and associate professor in the Department of Burns, Nanfang Hospital. He has long been engaged in clinical practice and scientific research on burns and the repair of acute and chronic wounds. He boasts extensive experience in the treatment of critical burns, functional rehabilitation and plastic surgery after burns, and management of chronic refractory wounds (such as refractory wounds caused by vascular diseases, diabetes, pressure injuries, trauma, etc.).

Research Achievements: In recent years, he has presided over and participated in 8 research projects including sub-projects of the National Key Basic Research Program of China (973 Program), key projects of the Natural Science Foundation of Guangdong Province, key research projects of the Science and Technology Plan of Guangdong Province, open research projects funded by State Key Laboratories, and medical research projects of Guangdong Province. As a major contributor, he has won 2 Second-Class Awards of the National Science and Technology Progress Award, 2 Second-Class Awards of the Military Science and Technology Progress Award, and one Third-Class Award each of the Science and Technology Progress Award of Guangdong Province and Chongqing Municipality. He holds 4 utility model patents granted by the National Intellectual Property Administration. He has published more than 60 papers and contributed to 5 monographs.

He has long been engaged in clinical practice and scientific research on burns and the repair of acute and chronic wounds, with rich experience in the treatment of critical burns, functional rehabilitation and plastic surgery after burns, and management of chronic refractory wounds (such as refractory wounds caused by vascular diseases, diabetes, pressure injuries, trauma, etc.). He currently serves as a standing committee member of the Burn Branch of Guangdong Medical Doctor Association and vice chairperson of the Burn and Plastic Surgery Branch of Guangzhou Medical Association. He has presided over 9 research projects including sub-projects of the national "973" Program, provincial natural science and science and technology plan projects. He has published over 60 papers and participated in compiling 5 monographs. As a major contributor, he has received 2 Second-Class National Science and Technology Progress Awards, 2 Second-Class Military Science and Technology Progress Awards, and 2 Third-Class Provincial Science and Technology Progress Awards, together with 4 patents.
