Medical Career: Selected by the Chinese Urological Association to receive specialized urology training in Europe in 2009. He engaged in clinical research on urological malignancies at Massachusetts General Hospital in the United States in 2013. He has been awarded the Guangdong May 1st Labor Medal, Guangdong Provincial Expert in Staff Economic and Technological Innovation, the Golden Gate Award of the Urology Branch of Guangdong Medical Association, and the 3rd Guangzhou Excellent Doctor. He has been selected for talent programs including the Leading Talent of Guangdong Special Support Program, Outstanding Young Medical Talent of Guangdong Province, and the Training Candidate of Guangdong "One Hundred, One Thousand and Ten Thousand" Talent Project. He has long been engaged in foreign medical aid work. He performed the first minimally invasive surgery for prostate diseases in South Pacific island countries, established the Chinese medical aid and minimally invasive surgery training program for South Pacific island nations, and delivered surgical assistance and medical education.

Teaching Experience: He is a Distinguished Teacher under the Guangdong Special Support Program, Excellent Teacher for Undergraduate Teaching of Southern Medical University, and Outstanding Mentor for Fostering Virtue through Education. His teaching research and reform focus on the collaborative talent cultivation of new medical disciplines integrating medicine, education, industry and research, as well as OSBC digital teaching. Nine provincial and higher-level teaching projects have been approved. The course Urinary System led by him has been recognized as a first-class undergraduate course in Guangdong Province, and his team has been awarded the Provincial Curriculum Ideological and Political Demonstration Team. His teaching team has been accredited as a provincial-level teaching team and curriculum teaching research office.

Research Profile: He focuses on scientific research into microbiomics and urinary system diseases. He has presided over 4 National Natural Science Foundation projects, more than 20 research projects including Guangdong Natural Science Foundation projects, Guangdong Science and Technology Program projects, and various university and hospital-level research projects. As the first author or corresponding author, he has published over thirty papers in SCI-indexed and core journals and obtained multiple patents. He currently serves as an editorial board member of the Chinese Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Urological and Andrological Diseases, editorial board member of the Chinese Journal of Urology, youth editorial board member of the Journal of Robotic Surgery, and editorial board member of the Asian Journal of Urology.
