Medical Career: Graduated with a Doctoral degree from the Eastern Hepatobiliary Surgery Hospital of the Second Military Medical University. His supervisor was Professor Wu Mengchao, a world-renowned hepatobiliary surgeon and Member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. From 2000 to 2003, he conducted research on clinical liver transplantation and transplantation immunology under the guidance of Professor Tzaki, an internationally famous organ transplantation expert, at the Organ Transplantation Center of Jackson Memorial Hospital, Miller School of Medicine, University of Miami, Florida, USA. He was recruited by Nanfang Hospital as a senior talent in 2008. Between June and August 2009, he studied living donor liver transplantation at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, under Professor Chen Chao-long, an internationally renowned expert in living donor liver transplantation and Member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering.

Research Profile: He has presided over 6 research projects including the National Natural Science Foundation projects, provincial science and technology department projects and hospital-level research projects, and won one Second Prize of Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award. He has published 56 papers in domestic and international journals.
