He completed four years of postdoctoral research at the University of Virginia in the United States from 1997 to 2002. He has been engaged in clinical work in cardiovascular medicine for 28 years and specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases such as coronary heart disease and hypertension.
