Main research directions: establishment of early identification and warning systems for critical illnesses; pediatric emergency triage and assessment systems; epidemiology, prevention and control of accidental injuries.

He is mainly engaged in the monitoring and treatment of pediatric emergencies and critical illnesses of various systems. Every year, he monitors and treats more than 600 children with various acute and critical illnesses, two-thirds of whom suffer from severe infections complicated during myelosuppression after hematological tumor chemotherapy, acute respiratory distress syndrome, shock, respiratory failure, preoperative complications of complex congenital heart diseases in infants, severe neurological diseases, inherited metabolic diseases, etc.
