Biography: Admitted to the former Shanghai Second Medical University (now Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine) in 1997, studied under Professor Zhou Aiqing, a renowned pediatric cardiologist in China. He obtained his Doctoral Degree in Pediatrics (Pediatric Cardiology) in 2000 and was promoted to Chief Physician in December 2010. In 2002, he pursued postdoctoral research at the College of Medicine, University of Florida in the United States, focusing on the regulatory mechanisms of cell signal transduction. Selected for the American March of Dimes Scholar Program in 2006, he conducted clinical genetic research on congenital heart disease at the Heart Center and Molecular Cardiovascular Center of Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center in the United States. Current main research directions: clinical and basic research on coronary artery lesions in Kawasaki disease; clinical genetics of cardiovascular diseases, etc.

Research Achievements: He has undertaken numerous research projects including the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the American March of Dimes Scholar Program. He has published more than 50 papers in domestic and international professional academic journals and participated in compiling 6 academic monographs.

He mainly engages in non-thoracotomy interventional therapy for pediatric congenital heart disease, standardized diagnosis and treatment of Kawasaki disease and coronary artery lesions, as well as the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases such as arrhythmia, myocarditis, cardiomyopathy and pulmonary hypertension.
