Chief Physician, Doctoral Supervisor, Director of the Department of Cardiology. He presides over 2 General Programs of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, has published more than 50 papers and participated in compiling over 10 monographs. He has won the Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award, the Pudong New Area Science and Technology Award of Shanghai, the Huaxia Medical Science and Technology Award, and the Soong Ching-ling Pediatric Medicine Award. His main research directions include material and methodological research on interventional therapy for congenital heart disease, basic and clinical research on pediatric cardiomyopathy, pulmonary hypertension and rare cardiovascular diseases, as well as genetic research on pediatric cardiovascular diseases.

He has long been engaged in the diagnosis and interventional treatment of pediatric congenital heart disease, with a total of more than 3,000 interventional procedures for congenital heart disease completed. He has profound attainments in the diagnosis and treatment of pediatric cardiomyopathy, pulmonary hypertension, rare cardiovascular diseases and complicated conditions.
